TweetChat - Journal Club

Welcome to the web space for the Twitter Journal Club hosted by #ResNetSLT discussing Speech and Language Therapy/Pathology research.

The journal club is an opportunity for Speech and Language Therapists/Pathologists to harness the power of social media to facilitate discussion of current topics, explore collaboration, support and mentorship and to promote evidence based practice.

The ultimate goal is to improve the patient/service user/customer intervention and care we provide.

On the last Wednesday of each month at 19.30pm GMT, a guest host will select an article with a topic of interest, pose some questions and will lead the discussion.

Check here for dates, times and information about the upcoming Tweetchat and a link to the article. You can also check #ResNetSLT for updated information.

If you wish to view previous topics of discussion or other resources relating to the project, please click here.

Don't worry if you haven't joined a Tweetchat before, you can find lots of advice here, and we will post a summary of the discussions on this blog afterwards for everyone to read.

Tweetchats are a great continuing professional development opportunity (CPD). You can find advice on how to record Tweetchats for your portfolio here.

If you would like to guest host a journal discussion, another great CPD and learning opportunity, then please get in touch.

Perhaps your service/department has been discussing a topic/current issue in practice? This is a perfect opportunity to seek wider views and engagement in the discussion.

If we can support you in any way to get involved, then please do not hesitate to ask. Happy Tweeting!
